DAY 1 Dahabeya Embarkation Saturday

Our Representative will pick you up from Luxor airport and escort you till arriving at the Dahabeya in Luxor West bank of the Nile, you will be welcomed by the crew with a nice fresh welcome drink, your luggage will be brought to you cabin by our crew, on embarkation.

DAY 2 – West and east Bank Excursion

Today we have a possibility for a unique optional experience of watching the Sunrise while having a balloon trip over luxor .  Enjoy your breakfast aboard Dahabeya, and then you will leave the boat with our tour guide who will take you to visit the famous historical monuments on Luxor’s West Bank. During this tour, your first stop will be at Valley of the Kings, the ancient royal necropolis where Tutankhamen’s still intact tomb was discovered in 1922.

Then we will see the magnificent rock-cut temple of Queen Hatshepsut, you also have the possibility to visit the Alabaster Factory to experience how the great old artists were curving the stones. On the way we will visit the Colossi of Memnon.

Visit the vast Amon-Ra complex, also known as Karnak . From there you will head to Luxor Temple which is one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Egypt

DAY 3 – Sail to Esna – ElHegz Island

Enjoy another leisurely breakfast on the river while you are sailing to start sailing towards Esna. Cross Esna Lock and tie up for the night a short distance away from Edfu temple so that you can enjoy a night of perfect tranquility on the water. Overnight at El Hegz Island .

DAY 4 – Sail to Horus Temple at Edfu -Fawaza – Serag - El Ramady- Bassaw

Enjoy another leisurely breakfast on the river while you are sailing to Edfu where your tour guide will accompany you on another excursion, this time to see the ancient Greco-Roman Temple of Horus / Edfu temple . This is the best-preserved temple in Egypt thanks to the fact that it became buried beneath the desert sand, and it remained buried for about 2,000 years before being rediscovered and subsequently excavated.

After your tour, Continue sailing Passing by some Islands where you watch the kids playing by the nile , Buffaloes and donkeys walking by the Nile . lunch and continue sailing till we reach a small island village of Bassaw,  this is 500 inhabitant community cultivating  their own food like mangoes, bananas, dates and fishing for Living, they are noticeably isolated from surrounding areas, Bessaw is seemingly frozen in time .!!

 

Visit Bassaw Village, upon arrival at the farmer’s property, we will be welcomed into their home, and we will have the opportunity to ask any questions we might have specially Education for Girls living on the Island .(May be a chance to bake our local sun bread for dinner)

DAY 5 – Sail to Bashier , Maliha , Kom Ombo, Herdiab, Aswan

Enjoy breakfast aboard Dahabeya while sailing towards some more islands like Bashier and Maliha then arrive at Kom Ombo and enjoying the wonderful views along the Nile.

We arrive to Kom Ombo Temple  where your guide will take you to see the remarkable Temple of Kom Ombo. This is one of the most unique and most intrigue ancient temples because it was dedicated to two different gods: Sobek and Haeroris. To make this possible, the builders had to build two of everything, resulting in a complex which is essentially two temples in one. Continue sailing to Aswan .Passing by Herdiab island  .

After Lunch , in the afternoon , we start our tour in Aswan where we start with the great and magnificent ancient Temple of Philae . The Temple of Philae on the island of Agilka, one of the most beautiful sanctuaries in Egypt was moved in entirety from its original location to its current location on higher ground. This was saved from the rising waters of Lake Nasser following the construction of the Aswan High Dam which was completed in 1977. On our way back to our home Dahabeya we have the opportunity to stop by Aswan Souq ( market ) , possibility for practicing our bargaining skills , visit the spice market and have a chance to drink famous sugarcane juices . Overnight in Aswan

DAY 6 – Aswan - Silsela temple

Breakfast on board , We will then sail back towards Luxor . We then visit Silsela Hormoheb Temple to watching the amazing granite quarries and see how the great Pyramids and famous Temples stones were cut from the mountains. Continue sailing towards a small island in the Nile, the boat will tie up, and you will be able to enjoy another blissful night on the water under the stars. Continue sailing towards Esna

DAY 7 – Leisure Day and overnight in Luxor

Breakfast on board and enjoy sailing on Board Dahabeya slowly and silently towards Luxor passing by Esna Lock . Arrive Luxor and overnight

DAY 8 - Disembarkation – Saturday

Breakfast on Board, collect your luggage, Disembark the Ship, Our Luxor airport representative will guide you to Luxor airport for departure.

Queen Isis Dahabeya is an Egyptian Dahabeya, 2-Mast sailing boat, Year of

construction: 2022. Length: 42 meters, Width: 7.5 meters

Always accompanying the motorboat, which is able to pull the Dahabeya Isis in

case the wind is calm.

The ship accommodates up to 18 people and could reach 20 if we add extra beds in

the Roya Suite, its fully equipped with air conditions, Water filtration system ,

generators and inverter System , voltage 220, 24hrs electric power supply ,
